I am new to the blogging world. Not new to reading blogs but have never had my own before.
New adventures call for new actions though. We, my husband, Jerry and myself, have recently became proud owners of a puppy. Hence, the new adventure. Her name is Rosie and she is part toy poodle, part chihuahua. Some say chipoodle others say poochi. Me, I just say puppy. All I know is she is cuuuuute. She is brownish/gray and has huge ears. I will try to figure out how to post pics so you can see for yourself. When we first got her on March 18, 2011 she was supposedly 8 weeks old. Now I don't know much about puppies but even I thought she was older than that. I will post later about where we got her.
Anyway, I made an appointment with the vet and took her in. She weighed a whopping 2.6 lbs. Seriously. The vet thought she was probaby 10, maybe 11 weeks. He said it was hard to tell because toy breeds teeth don't typically go along with the teeth chart they use for gauging age. With that said, since we didn't know exactly when she was born, I decided her birth date would be January 11, 2011, (1-11-11). I figured that would be easy enough to remember. Jerry might even remember that. Well all shot up, wormed and a small fortune later, she was deemed healthy. Let the adventures begin......
