Birthday Party and Chong

Rosie attended her first birthday party Saturday.  Graham, my nephew, turned 6 and had a water party.  We took Rosie and she behaved very well.  She was the only non-human there so that helped.   The kids played in the pool and on the giant slip and slide.  I took Rosie's swim suit but she never got to participate in the wet stuff.  The only wet she got besides her water bowl, was wet little Isabel holding her.

 Isabel's Aunt Claudia had given her a manicure and painted her finger and toe nails blue.  Isabel was checking out Rosie's nails, which thus far have remained unpainted.

We did give Rosie a little vanilla ice cream so she would feel like part of the party.  She loved it.

On the Chong front, Paige said he is amazingly better.  She has been giving him lots of fluid and meds for nausea. He was better last night but this morning he was much better, even wagging his tail and eating a little.  Hopefully this trend will continue.

I love my Rosie, wet or not.
