Friday afternoon and Rosie is pooped out on the back of the sofa. She went to work with me after lunch and she is always tired when she gets home. You would think she actually worked! Paige is coming over tonight to help me decorate a cake for my nephew, Graham's, birthday party tomorrow. He is 6 and is having a water party with a giant, and I mean giant, slip and slide. It is maybe 4 feet wide and 50 feet long. Fun fun fun. I might take Rosie but I don't think she will be doing any slipping and sliding. She will probably stay inside mostly. The temperature is suppose to to be 101 with a heat index of 105 or something crazy like that. Not sure how Rosie would do in that heat for very long.
When Paige comes over tonight, she is bringing Chong. He has pancreatitis and is really, really sick. Not sure what the out come will be but it doesn't look good. We are keeping them in our prayers. Chong has been with them nearly 11 years. All of Mackenzie's life and nearly all of Alex's. It will be hard to lose him. It is very sad. Hopefully, he will pull through.
It makes me think about Rosie. I love her so much and can not imagine what losing her would be like. I hope I don't have to experience that for many, many years. She brings such joy to us. Maybe I will let her slip and slide. She would have fun and it will help keep her cool. Naaa, she might break something:)
I love my Rosie even when she is pooped out from work.
